Owning A Car

  • Sumo

Owning a car is like sending a child to school.  In sending a child to college, we need to spend for the tuition fee, books, school supplies, uniforms and school projects. We also provide the child with daily allowance. If we own a car, we need to spend for the registration, maintenance and gasoline allowance. And since we don’t know when accidents may happen, it is wise to get an auto insurance too, just to play safe. There are some cheap auto insurance companies which provide cheaper auto insurance packages. But make sure that the company is not a scam and is really able to deliver the service that it promises. I always hear and read that if it is too good to be true, it probably is.

For those who do own a car like me, please be aware that buying a vehicle is not an investment but an expense. It won’t provide any ROI unless it will be used in a business. So if you are planning to buy one, think of it not only twice, but multiple times. But if you have the means, go for it! The convenience it provides really matters especially if you have kids.
