Have you seen men boarding on public utility buses with prominent gold chains hanging on their necks and on their wrists? I remember when I was a child and saw one, I used to ask myself a silent question, “Are these jewelries real?” If yes, how come the person wearing them paraded them as if they were inviting snatchers. I was curious then were these people get these thick gold chains. Because as a child, I knew that they were expensive.
Later on, I learned that usually those who wear these kinds of jewelries were OFWs who were from Saudi Arabia or other countries in the middle east were the jewelries are relatively cheaper.
