Malacañang declares June 30, Wednesday, as a special non-working holiday. Why? Because June 30 will be the inauguration of President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. The inauguration will be held at the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park (formerly Luneta) in Manila. This special holiday might be the last holiday declaration from the Arroyo government. Will the next president be fond of special holidays too? We will see.
July 2 will be a non-working holiday for employees who work in Pasig because July 2 is Pasig Day. How I wished that the inauguration of the 15th Philippine President fell on July 1 so I’ll have a two-consecutive day off from work :-p. Well, it is just a wish 😉
declared na ba talaga ang July 2? or we just assume na special non-working holiday ang July 2 kasi yon ang nakasanayan????? 😀
I think so. Me email notification na po galing sa HR namin eh 🙂
Nice! We have July 5 off because it is the day after July 4, and I really need the break!
Hi Mylene, happy holiday! hehehe, that’s nice to hear you have lots of holidays there 🙂 BTW, I added your link today as I am upgrading my blog to a new domain 🙂

That is right mommy! Mark them as Spam then delete them.
