Panglao is place where you can’t find a decent playground for kids. Oh yes, there is a vast ground outside the “Big Old Church” which is called Plaza where the kids can run to and fro. Sadly, that is the only thing which can be done there, just run. Oh I forgot. There is another thing which you can do there and that is to sit because there are scattered benches there made of cement. Good thing, there are few trees which are relaxing to look at while waiting for your child to feel tired in running. But a playground is nowhere to be found. I don’t wonder why because even outdoor fountains could not be added for more attraction. I wonder where the local taxes go.
I hope a good-hearted and able person will see the lack of recreational activity for kids here in Panglao and will finance and construct one for them.
